An initiative to development online based fisheries resources information

Abstract:

The Fisheries Resource Information Repository System is a public online web based resources that compiles in this and all previously published fisheries research papers together with online, other useful tools, databases and resources for fisheries and related biological researches. The fisheries information system include all the form of research papers, articles, major synoptic review papers and synthesis that lays out new approaches, methods or theories, discussion papers and commentaries from diverse areas. Although the different journals, universities, government and non-government organizations provide rich information about fisheries; therefore, it is felt necessary to amass these essential resources. Every type of people as researchers, scientists, inventors, students, teachers and other research institutions can contribute study. publish, submit and share their papers and knowledge by means of this common online fisheries information system. It can also act as media to solve unsolved problems and limitations which can generate new ideas and creative thinking. Thiefficient, effective and sustainable system of fisheries information increase standard researches, which would be adequate for researchers, scientists, inventors, students, and teachers as well as for well-being of the people of Bangladesh.
